Rules
RULES
PER THE DPV
On our courts we follow the rules of the German Padel Federation (DPV). That keeps scoring, serving and general procedure clear for everyone.
Official sources
The full rulebook, rule queries and current documents are published by the DPV on its website (in German).
Short overview (for orientation only)
- Padel is played in doubles (2 against 2).
- The serve is made underarm, below waist height.
- After bouncing on the ground, the ball may hit the glass walls or the mesh fence.
- Scoring works as in tennis (0, 15, 30, 40, game; tie-break where needed).
For tournaments, exceptions and details, only the DPV rulebook in its currently valid version applies.
